Third Party Car Insurance

Overview

Third party insurance cover is a basic type of insurance that covers you only against third party claims if your car is involved in an accident in South Africa and you’re legally liable for damage to another person’s property. Under this option your car itself is not covered against any loss or damage.

Third party car insurance is a great option if you’re on a budget and want to make sure you’re covered for the bare minimum. It also makes sense if you’re driving a fairly old vehicle where the cost of getting comprehensive car cover would be high. None of our optional benefits are available under this option.

Our third party insurance includes reasonable legal costs, cover if someone else drives your car and cover if you drive a car that doesn’t belong to you.
