For Mandela Day 2025, Hollard honoured a group of everyday champions - South Africa’s truck and bus drivers whose resilience and dedication keep our country moving forward.
These drivers spend long hours on the road, often away from loved ones, ensuring goods are delivered, businesses stay open, and communities stay connected. Their quiet strength and commitment deserve recognition.
With the help of Hollardites, we packed care packages filled with essentials to help drivers refresh and recharge while on the road. While on site, the drivers were provided free cancer screening with our partners CANSA. Our team was also on hand to talk about some of our cover options, helping drivers better understand how to protect themselves and their livelihoods. In partnership with CANSA, we also provided free cancer screenings, promoting early detection and prioritising their well-being.
This initiative aligns with our desire to make an impact at the core of our communities.
