One of our highlights was the major move of all Gauteng-based Hollardites into our offices alongside the M1 on Oxford Road. Situated on a landmark property, just below the Johannesburg Hospital in historic Parktown, the Arcadia Campus has been our home since 2005.

This merging of four buildings and eight divisions in one place marked the beginning of a brand new era for Hollard, particularly since the office blocks were designed to harmonise with the historic Herbert Baker mansion. These were specifically designed to promote conversation and interaction through the use of open work space and ‘pause and play’ areas.

Recognising that people are individuals and need to enjoy work and life in a balanced environment, the campus is also home to The Hollsome Centre. This is a wellness facility which includes a fully-equipped gym, personal trainers and bikes for spinning classes. In true Hollard style, our brokers and partners have been invited to make use of the centre at their leisure. After all, there’s nothing quite like bit of shared sweat to facilitate some serious bonding!

A walking track, climbing wall and basketball court are amongst a host of other facilities that capture the adventurous spirit of our young and dynamic team.

It certainly doesn’t end there because the Villa, together with our office space, houses a large collection of South African contemporary art – a testament to Hollard’s ongoing and passionate support of South African art and artists.
