Who we are

MicroEnsure is an insurance intermediary dedicated to serving the less fortunate throughout the developing world (Africa, Asia and Latin America). We offer an affordable and appropriate range of micro insurance products.

We reach out to large numbers of people with low cost insurance products designed to match their needs. At the same time, we negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of our clients to keep premiums to a minimum.

What we do

We currently operate in nine countries, excluding South Africa, serving millions of people with a range of affordable and appropriate insurance products that include:

• Credit life, health, funeral and property insurance products
• Weather index crop insurance products
• Products designed to meet the financial risk needs of under-served markets in the developing world
• Back-office processing to track details of clients covered
• Collection of client premiums and administration of claims
