Due to enormous demand, Scorpion Legal Protection expanded their service offering to include funeral cover. Scorpion Legal Protection, underwritten by Hollard Life Assurance Company Limited, has been helping people afford dignified funerals since 2008.  Scorpion Legal Protection provides funeral cover to individuals and, through our 27 branches and legal assistance helpline, we are able to assist our clients in matters relating to the funeral.

What We Do

Clients with a funeral plan from Scorpion Legal Protection have access to everything they might need in their time of grief. Our comprehensive cover not only includes financial assistance for the funeral itself, but also provides access to a legal assistance helpline which provide legal advice and assistance with any matter relating to the funeral, the death and the winding up of the estate.

From the moment you join, you are immediately covered for accidental death at no extra charge.  Clients can also choose to add additional cover and benefits to their basic Scorpion Legal Protection funeral plans.  These additions can provide cover for your extended family and even pay out a monthly cash amount to a nominated beneficiary for 12 months after the Main Member’s passing.

Scorpion gives you 30 days from receipt of your funeral plan policy document to cancel the Plan. No questions asked. All costs incurred will be refunded.
