Medical tests are not required if you opt for the non-underwritten life cover benefit

Any woman from the age of 18 to 65 can take out a Fenomenal Woman Life policy, where no medical examination is required. Any women from the age of 18 to 60 can take out a Fenomenal Woman Life policy, where a medical examination is required.

You can choose to take out life cover for your partner, provided they are also over the age of 18 and younger than 66.

• No medical examination or HIV test is required for the non-underwritten Fenomenal woman policy.
• For the underwritten policy if a negative HIV test is provided, cover will be set at 100% of the sum assured for the life of the policy. If a positive HIV test is provided, cover will be set at 10% of the sum assured for the life of the policy. If no HIV test is provided, cover will be set at 100% of the sum assured for the first 6 months, 50% for the next 6 months, and 10% for the remainder of the life of the policy
• Regardless of HIV status, accidental death will be covered at 100% of the sum assured.
