- In the event of a natural death, Hollard requires the following documents:
- Funeral claim form
- Certified copy of death certificate
- Certified copy of identity document of both the insured and beneficiary
- Certified documentary proof of marriage (if applicable)
- BI1663 - notification of death (obtainable from a doctor or funeral parlour)
- Unnatural Death
- In the event of an unnatural death, Hollard requires the following documents:
- Funeral claim form
- Certified copy of death certificate
- Certified copy of identity document of both the insured and beneficiary
- Documentary proof of marriage (if applicable)
- BI1663 - notification of death (obtainable from a doctor or funeral parlour)
- Police report
- Road traffic accident report (if applicable)
- Full post-mortem report
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
