Cash back insurance benefits

Along with alleviating the stress of returning home and having to face bills, DAY-AID Hospital Cash Back Plan offers the following benefits:

Quick Payout: Claims are payable at the end of the period of hospitalisation or when 30 (thirty) days benefit is due, whichever is earlier.
R200 – R5,000 cash paid back for each day in hospital (up to 180 days)
Pays from day one (the first day of your hospitalisation) as long as you are in hospital for three consecutive days
Family insurance benefit: covers up to six children
Maternity insurance benefit: covers pregnancy (after 12 months of cover)
No prior medical examination or HIV test required
Up to 20% of premiums paid back in cash after every five years regardless whether you claim or not

In addition you get accidental death and disability cover: Get R50,000 on accidental death and disability and an additional R10,000 (a total of R60,000) if death or disability was due to an accident while traveling as a fare-paying passenger on public transport.

What you need to qualify:

You must be a South African citizen or a legal permanent resident and must not ordinarily reside outside of the Republic of South Africa
You must earn a gross monthly income of R2,000 a month (before tax)
